Inevitably when a successful company releases a new product, especially a product that is released with huge fanfare;\u00a0there will be flaws which need to be fixed. Will Apple leverage this current situation to their full advantage?<\/p>\n

Whether a company is releasing a new car, a new technology, or a new service to the marketplace; consumers have shown that they would much rather have their product or service NOW, even if there may be a few unexpected problems with it.\u00a0Most businesses will take care of any problem in a timely manner, and usually at no cost to the consumer.<\/p>\n

1. Apple captures the headlines\u00a0on people’s newsfeeds.<\/h4>\n

Apple has always been the master of generating free media via PR, leaks, and challenges. (Do you really believe that every time<\/em> Apple releases a new product, one of their employees “just happens” to leave the thing in a bar or restaurant?)<\/p>\n

Apple is no stranger to leveraging a little bit of controversy to generate millions of dollars worth of PR. Apple’s largest competitor, Samsung, spends 1 Billion dollars in advertising to promote their products. Apple spends a fraction of that.<\/p>\n

2. Extreme emotions are easier to control than apathy.<\/h4>\n
