I get discouraged now and then<\/p>\n

When there are clouds of gray,<\/p>\n

Until I think about the things<\/p>\n

That happened yesterday.<\/p>\n

I do not mean the day before<\/p>\n

Or those of months ago,<\/p>\n

But all the yesterdays in which<\/p>\n

I had a chance to grow.<\/p>\n

I think of opportunities<\/p>\n

That I allowed to die,<\/p>\n

And those I took advantage of<\/p>\n

Before they passed me by.<\/p>\n

And I remember that the past<\/p>\n

Presented quite a plight,<\/p>\n

But somehow I endured it and<\/p>\n

The future seemed all right.<\/p>\n

And I remind myself that I<\/p>\n

Am capable and free,<\/p>\n

And my success and happiness<\/p>\n
