You Are What You Thank About
Gratitude is such a powerful emotion. Andy Andrews states, “Depression can not exist in a grateful heart.” So simple, yet so true. When you begin to “thank about” something, you will manifest more of that in your world. Here is my short list of what I’m grateful for today, please comment or re-post and add your comments!
I am thankful for: health, family, freedom, the power of communication that God has allowed me to develop, friends, the ability to be a catalyst for greatness in others, physical fitness, music, great books and audios which inspire me, an awesome fiancee, the brave men and women of our armed forces, time cooking with loved ones, the ability to travel to really cool places, the ability to not only give some of what I have, but some of who I am, a fine cigar, my guitars, my kayak cutting through the morning fog on the river at sunrise, more…
This is far from a complete list, but I would challenge everyone today to pick up the phone or email someone and genuinely thank them for being in your life. Happy Thanksgiving!

Shef,
Thanks for the insight and anecdotes!
I’m pretty sure I have heard most things at least once, yet we need to hear the good stuff over and over. I have spent the past hour or so reading through your website and your blog. Love your energy and the things you have put together.
15 minutes of downtime 2x a day will be very beneficial. I am thankful for your Dave. See you on the journey. 🙂
Blessings!
